At Georgia Driving School we are offering Online Classes through ZOOM. Emergency Rule is now allowing Remote Classroom Instruction of our Driver’s Ed & Joshua’s Law Classes, Defensive Driving Classes & DUI/Risk Reduction Classes. Even though these classes are been taught online via Zoom, they are not considered as “online courses”.
How to Book a Course
We are aiming to run classes daily provided a min of 5 Students are registered on the course. Payments can be made through our website. More info on how to join the sessions will be sent to you on registration. Please call to register your Online Class.

Emergency Rule 375-5-2-0.1-.10 entitled “Remote Classroom Instruction” is hereby adopted as attached hereto. The effective date of this Rule will be March 13, 2020. This Emergency Rule will remain in effect through July 11, 2020, which is not longer that 120 days from the effective date.
Statutory Authority O.C.G.A. 40-16-2, 40-16-3, and 50-13-4.
Under the authority granted to the Commissioner of Department of Driver Services, the Commissioner has determined that an Emergency Rule is hereby necessary to provide for remote classroom instruction for Driver Training, Commercial Driver Training, Driver Improvement Clinic, and DUI Alcohol or Drug Use Risk Reduction programs certified and monitored by the Department. A licensed Driver Training, Commercial Driving Training, Driver Improvement Clinic, and DUI Alcohol or Drug Use Risk Reduction programs may utilize remote services for classroom instruction and the administration of assessments. DUI Alcohol or Drug Use Risk Reduction providers may utilize remote services for both components of the Risk Reduction program. Such instruction, training, and assessments may be done via web services, such as, but not limited to, Skype, Zoom, Web Ex. Schools utilizing such methods must notify the Department and keep rosters of students enrolled in these programs pursuant to existing rules and regulations of the Department. Such programs shall continue to be subject to all monitoring, training, and auditing pursuant to existing rules and regulations of the Department.
