A Clinical Evaluation is required by Georgia Law for anyone who has had two or more DUIs, and may be required for a first DUI at the judge’s discretion. The evaluation is a one-time interview which takes approximately one hour. It should be scheduled upon completion of the risk reduction program (DUI School). The purpose is to determine whether additional services are warranted. The evaluator is required to make a recommendation which may be for additional education or treatment, or in some cases, for no additional services. The recommendation will be fully explained to you at completion of the evaluation.
While you may choose any evaluator from the state register, for your convenience, Georgia Driving School has two Registered Clinical Evaluators onsite.
